Stronger Together Campaign
Barnsley Football clubs stronger together campaign continues to grow. Season ticket sales are up by over 250% on the equivalent time last season with many families taking advantage of the free Under 11 season ticket offer.

The Supporters Trust are fully behind the Stronger Together Campaing and we would encourage all our members and Barnsley Supporters to take the message out into their communities to advertise the campaign. Word of mouth and local advertising is one of the best methods of advertising for Barnsley FC and the campaign that we can do, coupled with the local radio advertising and press advertising campaigns that are currently being run by the football club.

The Supporters Trust have always been keen for the football club to become part of the community and this is the approach that the football club wants. The football club belongs to the people and community of Barnsley, let us encourage the community of Barnsley to come out and support the club.

It is worth remembering that season ticket renewal deadline date for guaranteeing your seat is the end of June, so don't delay renew today and guarantee your seat for next season's campaign

Season ticket prices are
Pontefract Road End for 290.
East and West Upper 360
East Upper (Family Area) 350
East and West Lower 310
Disabled Corner 220

Concessions for fans who qualify for pensions range from 170 to 200 depending on which part of the ground.

A juvenile under the age of 11 - when accompanied by a paying adult - goes free in any part of the ground. For additional juveniles the club has halved the cost to 25. Tickets for juveniles under the age of 18 are 120 in all parts of the ground (100 if the seat is in the family area).

Peter Jones
It is with deep sadness that we have heard that Peter Jones passed away this weekend in Corfu. Peter was instrumental in the formation of the Supporters Trust and was until recently the Trust treasurer and board member.

Peter had many friends within the Supporters Trust and will be sadly missed. We would like to send our deepest sympathies to Peter's wife Janine and his family at this difficult time

Rest in Peace Peter.

News from the Junior group meeting
The first meeting of the junior group was held on Thursday 15th May at the Full House Pub, Monk Bretton. 9 members attended.

The group brainstormed ides on how the junior group could improve and raise its profile. It was agreed to continue with the popular pre-match get together in the academy, but to try to regularise these at one per month. Efforts will be made to increase participation in these sessions.

Next season the popular 50/50 ticket exchange scheme will continue and it is hoped that more teams will join the scheme. As always, priority will be given to those fans that travel on the supporters trust coach. Last season the junior group travelled in style and hired a 32 seat exec coach for the Norwich away game, this was well supported and we will look at hiring the coach more often next season, if there is the demand.

The group would also like to see pre-match and half-time entertainment introduced at home games. Approache swill be made to the club t osee if anything can be arranged .
