Barnsley FC have argued that reducing ticket prices does not mean higher attendances, and cited several examples from last season where this was supported.

On Saturday, Barnsley play Watford, a game designated as a Category C fixture, with ticket prices of £16 adults and £11 concessions.  The adult ticket prices are £14 cheaper than the game last saturday against Leicester.  The "Prove the Club Wrong" campaign aims to mobilise the Supporters of Barnsley to promote the Watford ticket prices and encourage their family and friends to get down to Oakwell on Saturday, with the aim of creating a bumper attendance.

We need your help to achieve this, can you put up a poster, distribute some flyers advertising the game.  We clearly need to get the news out that the ticket prices are only £16/£11/£5 for this game.

Print out one of the attached posters for Saturday and put it up in your Work/Shop Windows/Pubs etc etc
Let all your mates/neighbours know and drag them along kicking and screaming
