On Saturday 10th July it is the Annual Barnsley Summer carnival and Parade.  This is a WALKING PARADE ONLY.

One of our Members Kathy Shaw, as agreed to coordinate the Supporters' Trust presence in the parade and is looking for Volunteers to join her in Promoting the Trust and Barnsley Football Club.  The Football Club have donated some football gifts to hand out during the Parade.

Details of the Parade are as follows.
Everyone taking part meets up in the Car Park behind the Old County Court House pub on Regent Street at 1.45pm. The Parade starts Walking at 2.00pm and goes down into the Town centre and surrounding area and returns to the Car Park about 1 hour later.  On returning there is a short procession through a Marquee, where any Children taking Part will receive a small token /medal.  It has been suggested that those taking part wear a Red Barnsley Shirt, if possible or alternatively a Red Shirt. If you have a whistle or a Football Rattle, please bring them along as well to make a bit of noise.

If you have the time and would like to help Kathy promote the Supporters' Trust and Barnsley FC as well as meet other members of the Trust please get in touch with Kathy on 01484862719 or email
